NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WASHINGTON CITY COUNCIL WASHINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA MONDAY, February 9, 2026
AT 6:00 PM

The Washington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 9, 2026 in City Council Chambers located at City Hall 102 E 2nd Street. During this public hearing, the following item will be considered:

1. A rezoning request from Steven Fuchs to rezone 0.23 acres on Harding Street from R6S (Residential) to B2 (Business Commercial). Beaufort County Parcel Number: 5676-90-1069.

Members of the public will be given an opportunity to speak concerning the proposed requests. Prior to the meeting, questions may be directed to the Planning Office by calling 252-975-9383 Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
