TO: THE UNKNOWN FATHER of a Caucasian Male child born on or about June 13, 2020, in Pitt County, North Carolina. The mother of the child is Melanie Beth Dembowski.

TAKE NOTICE that a petition has been filed seeking to terminate your parental rights to the above-described juvenile.

You must prepare and file with the Clerk of Superior Court of Beaufort County a written answer to the motion within 30 (THIRTY) days of the first date of publication of this summons, the 25th day of February 2026. You must also serve a copy of the answer on the petitioner or its attorney.

If you fail to file an answer, the relief sought will be granted. The petitioner will apply to the court for the relief demanded in the petition.
