Position: Solid Waste Director

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Solid Waste Director directs, coordinates, and plans all solid waste and recycling collection and disposal operations. Leads planning, budget preparation, project management, convenience site management and personnel management.

WORK SCHEDULE: Hours are primarily
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
with one hour for lunch.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Business, or a related field AND five (5) years of professional level experience in the development and administration of programs in the assigned field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
GRADE AND SALARY RANGE: Grade 73,
Salary Range $44,784 - $66,315
